PROBLEM:

Post pandemic Ireland. The world’s borders finally open up and Ireland, a small, cold, wet island on the edge of the Atlantic needs to compete with thousands of more appealing destinations for tourist budgets the world over.

TASK:

How do we convince potential travellers to book a holiday to Ireland when there are dozens of warmer and more exotic alternatives which may sound more appealing after so many months of no travel and postponed plans.

CONSIDER:

The obvious virtues of Ireland—pubs full of smiling faces, fiddle music and Guinness—are fairly well-trod at this point and will do little to persuade. People will need more substantive reasons to choose Ireland.

SOLUTION:

The ridiculous & absurd to capture people’s attention and make them laugh!
